Does Hillary Have A Dream?

Recently Senator Clinton denigrated the power or usefulness of having a "dream." Saying, in efect, having a dream won't move anything.

I wonder what JFK, or Dr. King would make of this very "telling" comment.


" I say to you today, my friends, we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I used to have a dream, but then I realized that dreams won't make anything. Even a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I had a dream that one day this nation would rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I had a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners would have been able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I had a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, would have been transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I had a dream that my four little children would one day have lived in a nation where they would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I had a dream yesterday.

I had a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls would be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I had a dream today.

Ahh. The dueling reality of the Iraq Report. Taking it for what it is, and the benchmarks instituted by this administration, we come up with a 17% success rate.

Of course the Wing Nut spin machine is spinning like a washing machine hooked up to 220.
